Sponsorship affords the team additional freedom in their decision making. Engineering is always limited to time and money. We all have the same amount of time, so money helps the team create new tools and opportunities for members to be creative.
Donations will also help the team cover the cost of the competition, lodging for all team members, and events hosted by the team to increase awareness in STEM throughout the academic year.
With any engineering competition, teams look to gain a technical advantage over their competitors. In order to do this, the team requires additional funding. The funding allows the team to make decisions that will result in better performance, reliability, and sustainability.

By sponsoring Penn State’s Advanced Vehicle Team, you are gaining access to some of Penn State’s best engineers. In the past, team members have gone on to work for Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler.
Your support will allow you to gain inside recruiting access to the team and its members. Special meet and greets can be arranged for sponsors to meet the team and exchange contact information, chat about their projects, and relive the college engineering experience.
